Heres a new monkey fact monday post from the go bananas blog from Mad! So sit back and read
Hey monkeys! Mad here, and for today's Monkey Fact Monday, I'll tell you what I found about species of monkeys known as the White-Fronted Capuchin Monkeys!
The White-Fronted Capuchins are small monkeys weighing around 3 Kilograms or 6.6 pounds! They are found in seven different countries of South America! These are Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and Trinidad! Cool! ^_^
White-Fronted Capuchins usually eat nuts, insects and flowers! They really like the Ficus fruit & the Scheelea Palm seeds! Delicious? @(^_^)@
Even though they're called White-Fronted Capuchins, their fur color can range from a creamy white color to a cinnamon brown. When they were first discovered, the range in fur color caused much confusion in the description of the monkey!
If you're a monkey from South America, please encourage your friends to keep the forests clean! It is said that the population of the White-Fronted Capuchins is continuing to shrink in its habitats although it is not declared as endangered at the moment.
White-Fronted Capuchins are said to be very intelligent! Be careful if you see a White-Fronted Capuchin in the forest, because they have a habit of getting into mischief! Keep your bananas in your lunch boxes!
Keep our forests safe and strive to prevent deforestation for the home of our monkeys!
See you on MiniMonos!
