Monthly Masterpiece: Rainy Results

Hey monkeys!
Here are the results for Monthly Masterpiece!

 Monkeys from all over MiniMonos island have been working hard on creating projects to show the coolest rainy day activity on MiniMonos.
After a week of voting we finally have our winners! In first place winning 100 shells is Tapmancs:

Eric703 took 2nd place with his awesome story and SirJake came in 3rd! Both of them won a one month MiniMonos gold membership.

MiniMonos Monthly Masterpiece Reminder

Hello monkeys! Bananatastic just posted on the Go Bananas blog reminding us that the current Monthly Masterpiece is due in in not much more than 2 weeks! Here's what he said:

This is a reminder that all Monthly Masterpiece entries must be submitted by Wednesday, December 7!

Objective:  Create a video, drawing, sculpture, painting, poem, story or anything else artistic to show us your most EPIC rainy day activity ever!
Deadline: All entries must be in by December 7, 2011!

MiniMonos has JUST *about 2 minutes before I am posting this* posted the theme for the next Monthly Masterpiece! Here it is:

Splash! The Monthly Masterpiece is back with another new challenge for all of our creative monkeys on MiniMonos Island!


Objective:  Create a video, drawing, sculpture, painting, poem, story or anything else artistic to show us your most EPIC rainy day activity ever!
Deadline: All entries must be in by December 7, 2011!
Prizes:

• 1st Place: 100 shells on MiniMonos!
• 2nd Place: 1 month MiniMonos Gold Membership!

Bananatastic's Clay Creation

Hey monkeys!
Bananatastic has created something to show us :O Here it is:

I just finished sculpting a MiniMonos monkey head in the sculpture class that I'm taking this year at school!
Using clay, I was able to form my head in a week. Once I finished shaping the head it was time to put it in the kiln so the clay could harden. This is my head right now:


My next step is going to be painting it, which I plan to do this upcoming week.
I'm thinking about making the monkey's mohawk lime green and the fur brown. What do you think?
